In the fall semester, you can enjoy this sacred place from the beautiful late summer to majestic autumn colors to the snow-white blanket of Christmas time. Your semester will be packed with historic tours, and day trips to surrounding cities. Enjoy a semester in autumn in Nauvoo.

Spring- Nauvoo is at her quietest in Winter/Spring. This is the best time to see the city as she truly is, free from mosquitoes and large crowds. This semester is for pioneers, adventurers, and the most resilient. Your time here will be filled with historic tours and day trips. This semester is for those wishing to experience the exodus commemoration, the Relief Society anniversary, and Nauvoo at her best. From temple work to exploring natural wonders, and walking where prophets walked, this city has something for every YSA to deepen their conversion to Jesus Christ through the spirit of Nauvoo.

Rooms include beds, desks, chests of drawers, a small refrigerator, a microwave, and a TV. Communal areas have a stove and refrigerator as well as pots, pans, and dishes.

We offer a variety of amenities including Wi-Fi, a pool, indoor and outdoor and communal areas.

Participants are welcome to bring their vehicles. Program vehicles can be checked out, just replace the fuel after use.

Cost

Per Semester $2,000

Cost includes housing and an Aldi Food Card of $60 per two weeks.

Scholarships are available. When you Apply to The Nauvoo Discovery Program there will be a section about being on The Student Council. This has a very limited number of spots and interviews will be conducted for those positions. See our Student Council page for more details about those responsibilities.

Returning Participant Cost is $1,800

Employment

If you are looking for employment in Nauvoo you can check on the site Beautiful Nauvoo for employment opportunities on pages Nauvoo Local Shops and Hotels in particular. Nauvoo Facilities Management may also be a place to look. Try looking in the surrounding areas of Hamilton and Carthage Illinois, as well as Keokuk, Iowa. If you can find remote computer or phone work that may be to your advantage.

NDP Buildings

The Manor House

NDP Housing includes 2 adjoining rooms with a common room in between, a Kitchen area with stove, refrigerator and microwave and three full bathrooms. The Manor House also has an exercise room.

NDP Headquarters

This is NDP-Headquarters, which includes: The NDP Admin Office, a Study Hall, the Library, a Game Room, a Chapel, a Kitchen and a Great Hall as well as a craft room.

Inn at Old Nauvoo

The Inn at Old Nauvoo houses the Volunteers, Provides a Front Desk & Lobby, Pool, Extra Gathering Space, Vending Machines, More Washers and Dryers, and the Hotel Manager and other admin offices.
